Benefits & Relations Coordinator
Full-Time | In-Office (9:00 AM–5:00 PM)

The ideal candidate has experience supporting employees with benefits and HR processes, communicates effectively with diverse audiences, and is confident handling a high volume of incoming and outgoing calls with clarity, patience, and exceptional customer service. They ensure smooth and accurate processes while building trust through every interaction, representing the organization positively and demonstrating a commitment to creating a supportive experience for those they serve.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage high volume of calls and inquiries related to HR, benefits and payroll.
  • Process HR forms and employee updates in HHAX and payroll system, including:
    • Change of address and demographic updates.
    • Direct deposit setup for new and existing employees.
    • Tax information, rate changes, and benefits adjustments.
  • Handle Wage Parity Flex and benefits processing and inquiries.
  • Enroll and disenroll caregivers in benefit plans.
  • Coordinate and administer the caregiver corrective action and discipline process in partnership with the Director of Field HR. Review disciplinary matters, prepare and maintain documentation, communicate with caregivers and coordinators, monitor corrective action plans, ensure timely completion of all required follow-up steps, and maintain consistency and compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and applicable regulations through final resolution.
  • Support caregiver retention, quality assurance, and caregiver engagement initiatives by conducting follow-up outreach, addressing concerns to enhance the caregiver experience, monitoring trends and opportunities for improvement, ensuring adherence to established standards and processes, coordinating caregiver recognition and incentive programs, tracking participation and outcomes, and collaborating internally to promote engagement and continuous improvement.
  • Prepare and review payroll reports.
  • Generate and analyze Empeon data reports.
  • Compile and maintain additional HR and Benefit related reports as needed.
  • Maintain accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance in all HR records.
  • Provide interpretation and translation support.
  • Cover for coworkers when needed.
  • Support the HR team with additional tasks as required.

Qualifications
  • 2+ years of customer service experience required; HR or benefits experience preferred
  • Proactive problem solver with strong critical-thinking skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Ability to resolve issues while following established policies and procedures
  • Highly detail-oriented and organized
  • Experience working with HR systems, or the ability to learn quickly
  • Meticulous with importance of confidentiality, accuracy, and compliance
  • Dependable, flexible, and a collaborative team player
  • Passionate about HR and benefits and committed to creating positive, supportive experiences at every point of contact
  • Enjoys helping others and serving as a reliable, trusted resource for others
  • Bilingual in Russian or Mandarin/Cantonese
